What To Expect
Starting at Neumarkt in the old town, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and [BRAND] chat message, and set off through Switzerland's largest car-free centre. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.
The Steinberggasse invites you in with fountains, boutiques and café tables — riddles hide among the details locals walk past daily.
At the Stadtkirche, trivia climbs the twin towers that have anchored Winterthur's skyline since the Middle Ages, frescoes waiting inside.
Then the Stadthaus makes its entrance: Gottfried Semper's temple-like concert hall, proof of the confidence industrial money once bought here.
Around two hours at old-town pace. When the last answer lands, the leaderboard declares Winterthur's new champion.
